The office hotel
The Office Hotel that comprise this thesis proposal is generated from an idea of patterns and how these can engender a deep organization of space. The pattern studies relied on islamic traditions and practices and contemporary interests in pattern organizations. From this, a spatial organization was devolved through a series of modeling stages.
Thus, the Office Hotel presents an infrastructural facade in which all passage between the different levels and rooms is accommodated. Sharp inflections in the facade pattern allows for moving from inside to outside and shifting orientation.
In a similar manner, the concrete and glazed structure accommodates the program of hotel and offices based on a color-coded pattern scheme.
