Research tourism

The project proposal is for an training and learning center that draws on contemporary models for business and training environments. Out-sourcing and temporary, supplemental resources are becoming increasingly central to efficient administration and production. In this project, the demand for these types of organization is embodied spatially through flexible spaces and interconnectivity that allows for a temporal and flexible flow of office resources. This temporal flow of users is combined with a public function that caters to tourists who can visit the building to gather information and keep informed.

A rotating framing device is employed in order to generate a spatial dynamics throughout the space. This framing device allows for connecting interior and exterior, surroundings, and gives a spatial impulse to users for movement through the space.
