If accepted and I need a VISA, how do I do this?
The administrative procedures for visa applications will be forwarded to you after your being admitted to the school. If you have to start applications for financial support, you may do so after receiving a letter of acceptance. This makes it easier for the authorities to process your application.
If I am invited for an interview, do I have to attend in person?
It is not a prerequisite for your admittance, and alternative forms of interview can be arranged on an individual basis. But it is advantageous to participate in person in an interview.
Do I need to bring my own computer?
Yes; laptops are the normal choice.
Is it possible to work while studying?
No, only during the summer break between the two years. The studies are very intensive and require a substantial commitment in terms of time and presence.
Is a studio space provided?
Yes, the Architecture Class offers studios of varying sizes with 2-6 students in each room.
Is accommodation offerred by the school?
Most students live in the city in flats alone or on a shared basis. The school has only seven fully furnished flats available for foreign students; these are located in the Frankfurt harbor-area, around 5 km from the school and the city center.
