Reviews

Reviews form a central part of the academic program of SAC. The main review is held at the end of the academic year when members of the First Year Group present their respective results of the research and experiments on a given topic. The next day, the second-year, Master thesis candidates present their Diploma Design Thesis building proposals. The End-of-Year Reviews are attended by some of the best architectural critics in the world.

The preceding academic year offers a series of formal and informal review sessions. Members of the review panels vary and frequently include distinguished guests and friends of the program.

A review session offers the students the opportunity to receive critical remarks about their work and engage in an academic discussion about the results presented. The panel for the End-of-Year Review for the Diploma Group also functions as the Examining Board for the Master thesis proposals.
