Günter Bock Prize 2007

Anton Savov: Xx

Anton Savov won the first Günter Bock Prize with his First Year portfolio, entitled, 'Interconnectivity & Filtering Devices in Architecture.'
Anton Savov is from Bulgaria and completed his architectural studies before coming to Frankfurt, where he began working for the architectural firm, Jourdan & Müller. His winning the first-ever Günter Bock Prize was based on an extraordinary portfolio that combined poetic moments with technical excellence. The work was concluded with a provoking proposition on the nature and organization of deep surfaces in architecture, including the intelligence of such surfaces to convey information other than that which is conventionally implicit in the the make-up of architectural boundary conditions.
